ORDINANCE tabulating the votes cast and canvassing the returns of the City of Houston Special Elections held on November 7, 2017, to submit to the qualified voters of the City a proposition for the issuance of Pension Obligation Bonds for the purpose of funding a portion of the unfunded liability of the Houston Municipal Employees Pension System and the Houston Police Officers’ Pension System, four propositions for the issuance of Public Improvement Bonds, and a proposition for the legalization of the sale of mixed beverages in the area formerly known as the City of Houston Heights as it existed on February 19, 1918; making various findings and provisions related to the subject; declaring the official results of the special elections
