SUBJECT: Petition for the City’s consent to the addition of 0.900 acres to Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 366 (Key Map No. 410D; 410H, 411A; 411E; 411J).
RECOMMENDATION: The petition for the addition 0.900 acres to Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 366 be approved.
Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 366 has petitioned the City of Houston for consent to add 0.900 acres of land, located entirely within the corporate limits of the City of Houston, to the district.
The Utility District Review Committee has evaluated the application with respect to wastewater collection and treatment, potable water distribution, storm water conveyance, and other public services.
The district is located in the vicinity of West Gulf Bank Road, Tomball Parkway, Fairbanks North Houston Road and Antoine Drive. The district desires to add 0.900 acres, thus yielding a total of 389.290 acres. The district is served by the Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 366 Wastewater Treatment Plant, which is owned and operated by the district. The nearest major drainage facility for Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 366 is White Oak Bayou, which flows to Buffalo Bayou, and finally into the Houston Ship Channel.
Potable water is provided by the City of Houston. By executing the Petition for Consent, the district has acknowledged that all plans for the construction of water conveyance, wastewater collection, and storm water collection systems within the district must be approved by the City of Houston prior to their construction.
The Utility District Review Committee recommends that the subject petition be approved.
