The Mayor's Office of Special Events (MOSE) recommends that City Council approve an ordinance amending Chapter 25 of the City of Houston's Code of Ordinances to add a new safety zone for the Midtown area.
This safety zone is requested by the National Football League as a location for an event hosted by one of its primary partners. Due to the nature of the event and the signage to be installed, the establishment of this additional safety zone will allow the NFL to efficiently navigate the necessary processes for permitting and public safety management.
