ORDINANCE approving and authorizing fourth amendment to Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery Program Rental Housing Projects Round 2 Subrecipient Grant agreement between the City of Houston and the General Land Office of the State of Texas, to extend the term and to revise the performance statement and benchmarks - DISTRICTS B - DAVIS; D - BOYKINS and H - CISNEROS

The Texas General Land Office (GLO) has a contract with the City of Houston for Hurricane Ike Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Disaster Recovery (DR) Round 2, Phase 2, Multifamily Program funds.  To date, the contract has been amended three times.  

The Housing and Community Development Department (HCDD) proposes a fourth amendment to extend the end date of the contract to December 31, 2018.  This will ensure consistency and completion of services for all multifamily projects assisted with the Disaster Recovery Round 2 funding.  GLO is willing to grant this extension.

HCDD published a 15-day public notice for Amendment #4 in the Houston Chronicle on Monday, August 15, 2016.  To date, no comments have been received.
