The Director of the General Services Department (GSD) and the Chief Procurement Officer recommend that City Council approve an ordinance authorizing the appropriation of $1,148,515.00 and a 20% contingency (for unseen changes in the scope of work) in an amount of $229,703.00 for a total amount not to exceed $1,378,218.00 out of the Equipment Acquisition Consolidated Fund (1800) for the purchase and installation of badge reader devices and security cameras for GSD on behalf of Houston Health Department.
