The Director of the Houston Health Department and the City Purchasing Agent recommend that City Council approve the spending authority in an amount not to exceed $28,796.01 for the Houston Health Department Area Agency for the Aging Bridges Conference, and that authorization be given to issue purchase order to Metro Hospitality Partners DBA Crowne Plaza Medical Center .

The conference goal is to educate professionals regarding resources and supports that are available to assist older adults, people with disabilities and their families.
