The Houston Parks and Recreation Department (HPARD) recommends City Council appropriate $128,661.54 and approve an Interlocal Agreement between the City of Houston and the Houston Parks Board LGC, acting through its manager, Houston Parks Board, Inc. Funds will be used for trail improvements at Selena Quintanilla Perez – Denver Harbor Park. Fund 1850 will be reimbursed by the Council District Service Fund.
Selena Quintanilla Perez – Denver Harbor Park is located at 6402 Market St. The proposed scope of work is to overlay a 2,730 foot portion of the existing asphalt trail with fresh asphalt. The total projected cost is $128,661.54. The Houston Parks Board LGC will provide all labor, material, supervision and insurance necessary to complete the scope of work described in the Interlocal Agreement.
