REQUEST from Mayor for confirmation of the appointment of the following individuals to the BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF REINVESTMENT ZONE NUMBER TWENTY-SEVEN, CITY OF HOUSTON, TEXAS (MONTROSE ZONE):

     Position One     -  LISA W. HUNT, for a term to expire 12/31/2017

     Position Two     -  CAROLINE BETH GARRY, for a term to expire 12/31/2016

     Position Three  -  JOE DOUGLAS WEBB, for a term to expire 12/31/2017

     Position Four    -  STEPHEN C. COSTELLO, for a term to expire 12/31/2016,

                                  and to serve as Chair           

     Position Five     -  PAUL HINTON DICKERSON, for a term to expire 12/31/2017

     Position Six       -  JACQUELINE S. MARTIN, for a term to expire 12/31/2016

           Position Seven  -  ANN KATHERINE HUBBARD, for a term to expire 12/31/2017

Dear Council Members:

On December 9, 2015, an ordinance designating Reinvestment Zone Number Twenty-Seven, City of Houston, Texas (Montrose Zone) will be placed before the City Council for approval.  At the City Council meeting following the approval of the designation of the zone, the City Council will be asked to confirm the appointments of the Board of Directors of the zone. I am nominating the following individuals for appointment to the Board of Directors of Reinvestment Zone Number Twenty-Seven, City of Houston, Texas (Montrose Zone), contingent upon passage of the ordinance designating the zone and subject to City Council confirmation:

Lisa W. Hunt, appointment to Position One, for a term to expire December 31, 2017;

Caroline Beth Garry, appointment to Position Two, for a term to expire December 31, 2016;

Joe Douglas Webb, appointment to Position Three, for a term to expire

December 31, 2017;

Stephen C. Costello, appointment to Position Four, for a term to expire December 31, 2016,

to serve as Chair;

Paul Hinton Dickerson, appointment to Position Five, for a term to expire December 31, 2017;

Jacqueline S. Martin, appointment to Position Six, for a term to expire December 31, 2016; and

Ann Katherine Hubbard, appointment to Position Seven, for a term to expire

December 31, 2017.

Upon confirmation by Council, these appointments shall become effective on January 5, 2016.
