Background:

Dear Council Members:

 

Pursuant to Section 335.035 of the Texas Local Government Code, I am appointing and reappointing the following individuals to the Harris County-Houston Sports Authority Board of Directors, subject to City Council confirmation:

 

Robert Woods, appointment to Position Four, for a term to expire August 31, 2017;

Laura G. Murillo, appointment to Position Five, for a term to expire August 31, 2017; and

Matthew Rogers, Jr., reappointment to Position Eleven, for a term to expire August 31, 2017.
