Specific Explanation:
The Director of the General Services Department and the City Purchasing Agent recommend that City Council approve an ordinance authorizing the appropriation of  $188,259.25 out of the Reimbursement of Equipment/Projects Fund (1850) to address an emergency to reconstruct the Metropolitan Multi-Service Center in an amount not to exceed $188,259.25 for the General Services Department on behalf of the Houston Parks and Recreation Department.  Funds will be reimbursed when the City's insurance carrier has made payment on the claim for this emergency.
