The Director of the Fleet Management Department and the City Purchasing Agent recommend that City Council approve an ordinance authorizing the appropriation of $58,459.00 out of the Equipment Acquisition Consolidated Fund (1800) for the purchase of light duty vehicles for the Houston Police Department. The funding for these vehicles is included in the adopted FY16 Equipment Acquisition Plan.
