Dear Council Members:
Pursuant to Texas Tax Code 311, City of Houston Resolution No. 2000-27, the provisions of Subchapter D of Chapter 431 of the Texas Transportation Code, and Chapter 394 of the Texas Local Government Code, I am nominating the following individuals for reappointment to the Board of Directors of the East Downtown Redevelopment Authority, subject to Council confirmation:
Gordon J. Quan, reappointment to Position One, for a term to expire July 6, 2017, and to serve as Chair for a term ending 12/31/2015; and
S. David Koret, reappointment to Position Five, for a term to expire July 6, 2017.
Pursuant to Article II, Section 1 of the Bylaws of the East Downtown Redevelopment Authority adopted June 7, 2000, by Ordinance No. 2000-27, appointment of a person to the corresponding position of the board of the East Downtown TIRZ shall constitute appointment of such person to the corresponding board of the Redevelopment Authority, and the term of each Board Member position on the East Downtown Redevelopment Authority shall be coterminous with the term of the corresponding position on the Board of Directors of the East Downtown TIRZ, as established by the City of Houston Ordinance No. 1999-708, as may be amended from time to time.
