SPECIFIC EXPLANATION:
Northgate Crossing Municipal Utility District No. 1 has petitioned the City of Houston for consent to add 1.114 acres of land, located in the city's extraterritorial jurisdiction, to the district.
The Utility District Review Committee has evaluated the application with respect to wastewater collection and treatment, potable water distribution, storm water conveyance, and other public services.
The district is located in the vicinity of Hardy Toll Road, Spring Creek, Interstate 45, and Union Pacific Rail Road. The district desires to add 1.114 acres, thus yielding a total of 319.414 acres. The district is served by a regional plant, Northgate Crossing Municipal Utility District No. 2 Wastewater Treatment Plant. The nearest major drainage facility for Northgate Crossing Municipal Utility District No. 1 is Cypress Creek which flows into Spring Creek and then to the San Jacinto River and finally into Lake Houston.
Potable water is provided by the Northgate Crossing Municipal Utility District No. 2 Water Plant Nos. 1 and 2. By executing the Petition for Consent, the district has acknowledged that all plans for the construction of water conveyance, wastewater collection, and storm water collection systems within the district must be approved by the City of Houston prior to their construction.
