SPECIFIC EXPLANATION:
Meadowhill Regional Municipal Utility District has petitioned the City of Houston for consent to add 5.219 acres of land, located in the city's extraterritorial jurisdiction, to the district.
The Utility District Review Committee has evaluated the application with respect to wastewater collection and treatment, potable water distribution, storm water conveyance, and other public services.
The district is located in the vicinity of F.M. 2920, Spring Stuebner Road, Holzwarth Road and Interstate Highway 45. The district desires to add 5.219 acres, thus yielding a total of 868.6416 acres. The district is served by the Meadowhill Regional Municipal Utility District Wastewater Treatment Plant. The other districts served by this plant are Shasla Public Utility District, Northwest Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 28 and Klein Independent School District. The nearest major drainage facility for Meadowhill Regional Municipal Utility District is Spring Creek which flows to the San Jacinto River and finally into Lake Houston.
Potable water is provided by the district. By executing the Petition for Consent, the district has acknowledged that all plans for the construction of water conveyance, wastewater collection, and storm water collection systems within the district must be approved by the City of Houston prior to their construction.
