RECOMMENDATION: (Summary) It is recommended City Council approve an ordinance authorizing the sale of a 2,491 square-foot fee-owned portion of Studewood Street, in exchange for a consideration of $37,365.00, located adjacent to Lot 2, Block 1 of the Usener Addition, out of the John Austin Survey, A-1. Parcel SY15-099.
SPECIFIC EXPLANATION:
Neal Wade, 1124 Usener Boulevard, Houston, Texas, 77009, requested to acquire from the City a 2,200 square-foot tract of fee owned property, located adjacent to Lot 2, Block 1 of the Usener Addition, out of the John Austin Survey, A-1. A recent survey confirmed the actual square footage of the excess fee-owned property to be 2,491 square-feet. Neal and Mary Wade, the abutting property owners, plan utilize the sale parcel for greenspace for the abutting residential property. The Joint Referral Committee reviewed and approved this request.
Neal Wade has complied with the Joint Referral Committee requirements, has accepted the City’s offer, and has rendered payment in full.
