Porter Municipal Utility District has petitioned the City of Houston for consent to add 13.577 acres of land, located in the city's extraterritorial jurisdiction, to the district.
The Utility District Review Committee has evaluated the application with respect to wastewater collection and treatment, potable water distribution, storm water conveyance, and other public services.
The district is located in the vicinity of North Park Drive, Adams Street, Loop 494, and Woodridge Parkway. The district desires to add 13.577 acres, thus yielding a total of 3,961.2899 acres. The district is served by a regional plant, Porter Municipal Utility District Sewage Treatment Plant. The other district served by this plant is Woodridge Municipal Utility District.
