ORDINANCE amending City of Houston Ordinance No. 2014-1142 relating to the rescheduling or postponement of certain City Council Meetings to postpone the meeting scheduled for the week of October 27, 2015 |
| | | | | | | | Background:
In order to accommodate the request of Council Members for a break week the week of October 28th, Council is asked to amend ordinance #2014-1142, as amended by ordinance #2015-627, to add a new section # 9 which will authorize the postponement of the Oct 27/28 meeting. The next meeting will be November 4th which is a consolidated session of Council.
No Council Meetings (postponed to following week):
- Week of March 15-21, 2015 Spring Office Work Week
- Week of April 19-25, 2015 Spring Office Work Week
- Week of May 17-23, 2015 Budget Review Week
- Week of June 28-July 4, 2015 Summer Office Work Week (includes
July 4th holiday)
- Week of July 12-18, 2015 (new) Summer Office Work Week
- Week of August 16-22, 2015 Summer Office Work Week
- ***Week of October 25-31**** ***Fall Office Work Week***(ADDED)
- Week of November 22-28, 2015 Thanksgiving Holiday Week (includes
Thanksgiving holidays, Nov. 26 & 27)
- Week of December 27-January 2, 2016 Winter Holiday Week (includes New Year's
Day holiday
Council approval of this ordinance is recommended.
