The Department of Public Works and Engineering (PWE) and the Houston Fire Department (HFD) have declared Parcels SY16-001A, SY16-001B, H87-1, and SY16-008, as described in the attached Exhibit “A”, surplus to its needs.
All City departments with land needs have been canvassed and have indicated no interest in the properties. The properties may now be considered surplus to the City’s needs and available for sale. The department directors of PWE and HFD concur with this recommendation.
Therefore, the General Services Department recommends that City Council:
Declare the following parcels surplus, as fully described in the attached Exhibit “A”; subject to the City’s billboard restrictions, all easements, all public utilities and the applicable covenants, conditions and restrictions.
