A property owner or the Houston Archaeological and Historical Commission may initiate an application for the designation of a Landmark. This application for Landmark and Protected Landmark designation of the East End State Bank Building at 4215 Leeland Street was initiated by the owner.
A public hearing was held on April 23, 2015 by the Houston Archaeological and Historical Commission and there were no objections to the designation. The Houston Archaeological and Historical Commission determined that the application satisfied applicable criteria of the ordinance and unanimously recommended approval of the Landmark designation.
