Harris County Water Control and Improvement District No. 110 has petitioned the City of Houston for consent to add 37.7306 acres of land, located in the city's extraterritorial jurisdiction, to the district.
The Utility District Review Committee has evaluated the application with respect to wastewater collection and treatment, potable water distribution, storm water conveyance, and other public services.
The district is located in the vicinity of Cypresswood Drive, Holzwarth Road, Louetta Road, and Interstate Highway 45. The district desires to add 37.7306 acres, thus yielding a total of 1,280.3483 acres. The district is served by the Harris County Water Control and Improvement District No. 110 Wastewater Treatment Plant. The nearest major drainage facility for Harris County Water Control and Improvement District No. 110 is Cypress Creek which flows into Spring Creek and then to the San Jacinto River and finally into Lake Houston.
Potable water is provided by the district.
