The Director of the Solid Waste Management Department and the City Purchasing Agent recommend that City Council approve an ordinance authorizing the appropriation of $504,691.20 out of the Equipment Acquisition Consolidated Fund (1800) for the purchase of automated refuse carts through the Interlocal Agreement for Cooperative Purchasing between the City of Houston and the City of Tucson, Arizona for the Solid Waste Management Department. The funding for these refuse carts is included in the adopted FY15 Equipment Acquisition Consolidated Plan. |
