SUBJECT: Ordinance authorizing the abandonment and sale of 50 foot-wide Enoch Avenue, from Holt Street east ±312 feet, in exchange for conveyance to the City of a 25 foot-wide sanitary sewer easement, being adjacent to Blocks 90, 91, 95, and 96,within Knights Main Street Addition Section 2, out of the B. RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended City Council approve an ordinance authorizing the abandonment and sale of 50 foot-wide Enoch Avenue, from Holt Street east ±312 feet, in exchange for conveyance to the City of a 25 foot-wide sanitary sewer easement, being adjacent to Blocks 90, 91, 95, and 96,within Knights Main Street Addition Section 2, out of the B. H. Freeling Survey, Abstract 270 and a consideration of $494,357.00. Parcels SY24-086 and DY25-002
SPECIFIC EXPLANATION: Allan Hensley of H4 Architects & Engineers on behalf of Victor George Real Estate Holdings, LLC, George DeMontrond, Managing Member requested the abandonment and sale of Enoch Avenue, from Holt Street east ±312 feet. The applicant plans to join the north and south tracts for a new car dealership. The Joint Referral Committee reviewed and approved the request subject to the conveyance to the City of a 25 foot-wide sanitary sewer easement. Victor George Real Estate Holdings, LLC, has completed the transaction requirements, has accepted the City’s offer and has rendered payment.
The City will abandon and sell to Victor George Real Estate Holdings, LLC.:
