L28825.A1 – Approve an amending ordinance to Ordinance No. 2020-0454 (approved on May 27, 2020) to increase the maximum contract amount from $1,217,630.00 to $1,522,038.00; approving and authorizing a first amendment to Contract No. 4600015951 between the City of Houston and Alliance Health Resources Mobile Division, Ltd. to amend Exhibit F (Fees and Costs) and to extend the contract term from June 2, 2025, to June 2, 2026 for continued Occupational Medical Testing Services for the Human Resources Department.
Specific Explanation:
The Director of Human Resources and the Chief Procurement Officer recommend that City Council approve an amending ordinance to increase the maximum contract amount from $1,217,630.00 to $1,522,038.00 and approve a first amendment to the contract between City of Houston and Alliance Health Resources Mobile Division, Ltd. to amend Exhibit F (Fees and Costs) and to extend the contract term from June 2, 2025, to June 2, 2026 for continued Occupational Medical Testing Services for Human Resources Department (HR).
The contract was awarded on May 27, 2020, by Ordinance No. 2020-0454 for a three (3) year initial term with two (2) successive one (1) year terms, in the amount of $1,217,630.00. The extension of the contract term and the increase of $304,408.00 to the maximum contract amount will allow Alliance Health Resources Mobile Division, Ltd. to continue providing occupational medical testing services until a new contract is presented to City Council. Expenditures as of April 24, 2025 totaled $1,118,740.50.
The scope of work requires the contractor to provide all supervision, labor, materials, supplies, equipment, facilities, and reporting documentation necessary to provide Medical Exams and Testing as requested by the City of Houston's various departments.

Fiscal Note:
Funding for this item is included in the FY25 Adopted Budget. Therefore, no Fiscal Note is required as stated in the Financial Policies.
