Chapter 303 of the Texas Local Government Code provides an exemption from property taxation for multifamily residential developments that meet certain requirements, including that the development be approved by the governing body of the municipality in which the development is located.
HCD has performed a threshold review and recommends a Resolution of Approval for the following reasons:
- Allora Med Center – High Opportunity Area
- Ariza Park Row – High Opportunity Area
- Orem Circle – Gulfgate TIRZ
The Houston Housing Authority will hold a public hearing for the PFCs listed above on October 15, 2024.
This item was reviewed by the Housing and Affordability Committee on September 17, 2024.
