In accordance with Section 42-197 of the Code of Ordinances, the property owner of 819 Pecore Street, Lot 8, Block 5, in the Woodland Heights Annex subdivision, has initiated an application to renew a Special Minimum Lot Size Block (SMLSB).
The Planning and Development Department mailed notifications to four (4) property owners indicating that the SMLSB renewal application had been submitted. The notification further stated that a written protest must be filed with the Planning and Development Department within thirty days of mailing. In accordance with the Code, since no protest was filed, no action was required by the Houston Planning Commission to submit the application to the City Council.
The neighborhood and lot size have remained unchanged since the original ordinance (2004-41) was passed in 2004.
The Planning and Development Department recommends that City Council adopt an ordinance renewing a Special Minimum Lot Size of 5,000 square feet for the 800 block of Pecore Street, north side, between Julian and Watson Streets.
