Covenant House Texas was initially selected by Child Care Council, Inc. (CCC) as a service provider while CCC was serving as administrator of the HSP. CCC’s Agreement to operate as the HSP administrator was not renewed and will expire on March 31, 2024. To avoid a gap in homeless response system services, the City selected Covenant House Texas from the existing HSP providers to continue operations.
This Agreement term will provide funding from Date of Countersignature to March 31, 2025. Covenant House Texas has received funding from the City of Houston since 2009.
