Pursuant to Chapter 311, Texas Tax Code, and City of Houston Ordinance No. 1999-767, I am nominating the following individuals for appointment or reappointment to the Reinvestment Zone Number Nineteen, City of Houston, Texas (Upper Kirby Reinvestment Zone) Board of Directors, subject to City Council confirmation:
Stanley Charles Jones, Jr., reappointment to Position One, for a term to expire July 20, 2025;
Sydney S. (Buddy) Bailey, reappointment to Position Two, for a term to expire July 20, 2024, and to serve as Chair beginning January 1, 2024, and ending July 20, 2024;
Tammi C. Wallace, appointment to Position Three, for a term to expire July 20, 2025;
Emil Peña, reappointment to Position Four, for a term to expire July 20, 2024;
Russell H. Jackson, reappointment to Position Five, for a term to expire July 20, 2025;
Robert Casey, reappointment to Position Six, for a term to expire July 20, 2024; and
Suzan Deison, appointment to Position Seven, for a term to expire July 20, 2025.
Pursuant to the bylaws of the Upper Kirby Redevelopment Authority, appointment of a director to the Board of Directors of this Zone will also constitute appointment of the director to the corresponding position on the Board of Directors of the Authority for the same term.
