SUBJECT: Ordinance authorizing the sale of a 20 foot-wide drainage easement out of 6,460 square feet of City fee-owned land, being out of Samuel D. Waltman Survey, A-843. Parcel SY23-077
RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended City Council approve an ordinance authorizing the sale of a 20 foot-wide drainage easement out of 6,460 square feet of City fee-owned land, being out of Samuel D. Waltman Survey, A-843, in exchange to the City for a consideration of $2,461.00. Parcel SY23-077
SPECIFIC EXPLANATION:
James McAllister, of Pape-Dawson Engineers, on behalf of H-E-B, LP, requested the sale of a 20 foot-wide drainage easement out of 6,460 square feet of City fee-owned land, being out of Samuel D. Waltman Survey, A-843. The applicant plans to use the subject property for the installation of a drainage pipe for the H-E-B Holmes Road Fulfillment Center site. The Joint Referral Committee reviewed and approved the request.
H-E-B, LP has complied with the transaction requirements, has accepted the City's offer and has rendered payment in full.
The City will sell to H-E-B, LP:
Parcel SY23-077
627 square feet drainage easement:
Valued at $7.85 per square foot x 50%......................$2,461.00 (R).
TOTAL SALE: $2,461.00
Therefore, it is recommended City Council approve an ordinance authorizing the sale of a 20 foot-wide drainage easement out of 6,460 square feet of City fee-owned land, being out of Samuel D. Waltman Survey, A-843. in exchange to the City for a consideration of $2,461.00
Fiscal Note:
"Revenue for this item is included in the FY2024 Adopted Budget. Therefore, no Fiscal Note is required as stated in the Financial Policies."
