RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended City Council approve an ordinance authorizing the sale of a 6,000 square-foot tract of fee-owned land, located at the 6600 Block of Norwich Street, being out of Tract 3 of the East Houston Subdivision, in the J.L. Stanley Survey, A-700 for a cash consideration to the City of $12,000.00. Parcel SY21-038
SPECIFIC EXPLANATION: Maria Rangel requested the sale of a 6,000 square-foot tract of fee-owned land, located at the 6600 Block of Norwich Street, being out of Tract 3 of the East Houston Subdivision, in the J.L. Stanley Survey, A-700. The applicant plans to merge her abutting property with the subject property. The Joint Referral Committee reviewed and approved the request. Maria Rangel has completed the transaction requirements, has accepted the City's offer, and has rendered payment in full.

Therefore, it is recommended that City Council approve an ordinance authorizing the sale of a 6,000 square-foot tract of fee-owned land being out of the out of Tract 3 of the East Houston Subdivision, in the J.L. Stanley Survey, A-700 for a cash consideration to the City of $12,000.00.
Fiscal Note: Revenue for this item is included in the FY2023 adopted budget. Therefore, no Fiscal Note is required as stated in the Financial Policies.
