The Chief of Police for the Houston Police Department (HPD) recommends that City Council approve to extend Injury on Duty Leave (Salary Continuation) for a classified member of the Houston Police Department, Officer Anita Davis (Employee No. 165442).
Office Anita Davis was injured on May 23, 2021 when she was involved in a motor vehicle accident. Officer Davis sustained major injuries to her head, neck, mid-back, low back and left thigh which required extensive medical treatment and recovery time.
