ORDINANCE appropriating $326,550.00 out of Dedicated Drainage and Street Renewal Capital Fund – Ad Valorem Tax for an Advanced Funding Agreement between City of Houston and STATE OF TEXAS, acting by and through the Texas Department of Transportation for Shepherd-Durham Infrastructure Improvements; providing funding for CIP Cost Recovery financed by the Dedicated Drainage and Street Renewal Capital Fund – Ad Valorem Tax - DISTRICT C - KAMIN

SUBJECT: Appropriation of funds for an Advanced Funding Agreement between the City of Houston and State of Texas, acting by and through the Texas Department of Transportation (“State”), for Shepherd-Durham Infrastructure Improvements (“Project”).

RECOMMENDATION: Approve an Ordinance appropriating $326,500.00 for an Advanced Funding Agreement between the City of Houston and State for Shepherd-Durham Infrastructure Improvements.

SPECIFIC EXPLANATION: The proposed Agreement, to be considered under the following item, includes compensation to TxDOT for the costs of documentation reviews and oversight for the Project.

The total requested amount of $326,550.00 is to be appropriated as follows: $311,000.00 payments to TxDOT, $15,550.00 CIP Cost Recovery.

FISCAL NOTE: No significant Fiscal Operating Impact is anticipated as a result of this project.
