By Motion 2015-0085, City Council authorized the abandonment and sale of Pleasantville Drive, from Munn Street Extension north ±175 feet along Lot 36B-1, Block 3, and Lot 36B-2, Block 4, in exchange for conveyance to the City of right-of-way for a proposed cul-de-sac built to City standards, located in the Pleasanton Manor Section 2 Subdivision, out of the John Brown Survey, A-8. Thereafter, it was determined by a survey that the length of Pleasantville Drive to be sold is ±69 feet along Lot 36B, Block 36, located in the Glendale Subdivision, out of the John Brown Survey, A-8. A hold for any permits associated with the development of the applicant’s abutting property are in place in the City’s Integrated Land Management System (ILMS) and will be released upon construction completion of the cul-de-sac which will be built to City standards. ADG Interests, LLC, the abutting property owner, plans to construct a dormitory-style residential development on the abutting property and over the subject street.
