RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended City Council approve a motion declining the acceptance of a 10 foot-wide utility easement, and two 5 foot-wide aerial easements, adjoining Lots 36 and 37, Block 11, within the Lazybrook Section 8 Addition, out of the Henry Reinerman Survey, A-644. Parcel SY22-018
SPECIFIC EXPLANATION: Tony Lewis, 3030 S. Gessner Road, Suite 100, Houston, TX 77063, on behalf of David Hergenrether and Rhonda Hergenrether, Owners, requested the non-acceptance of a 10 foot-wide utility easement, and two 5 foot-wide aerial easements, adjoining Lots 36 and 37, Block 11, within the Lazybrook Section 8 Addition, out of the Henry Reinerman Survey, A-644. The applicant plans to incorporate the non-accepted easements into their property for future development. The easements are not being used for utility purposes, and the City has identified no future need for them. The Joint Referral Committee reviewed and approved the request.
Therefore, it is recommended City Council approve a motion declining the acceptance of, rejecting, and refusing the dedication of a 10 foot-wide utility easement, and two 5 foot-wide aerial easements, adjoining Lots 36 and 37, Block 11, within the Lazybrook Section 8 Addition, out of the Henry Reinerman Survey, A-644.
Fiscal Note: There is no impact to the fiscal budget or no additional spending authority. Therefore, no Fiscal Note is required as stated in the Financial Policies.
