On October 15, 2021, The Board of Directors of the Reinvestment Zone Number Twenty-Six (Sunnyside Zone) approved amendments to the Project Plan and Reinvestment Zone Financing Plan for the Sunnyside Zone and transmitted the proposed First Amended Project Plan and Reinvestment Zone Financing Plan (the “Amended Plan”) to the City for consideration by City Council. The Amended Plan will reflect changes to the project cost schedule for the Sunnyside Zone to include multi-modal infrastructure improvements, underground utilities, parks, community facilities and cultural amenities to improve infrastructure and quality of life in the Sunnyside area.
Pursuant to Texas Tax Code Section 311.011(e), a public hearing must be held prior to City Council’s consideration of an ordinance approving the First Amended Plan.
