Pursuant to section 39-17 of the Code of Ordinances, I am pleased to appoint Mark Wilfalk as the Director of the department of Solid Waste Management for the City of Houston. His resume is attached.
Mr. Wilfalk has over 25 years of experience in the industry and most recently served in the same role for the City of Tampa, Florida.
I am delighted to have Mr. Wilfalk join us here in Houston and am certain that he will do an outstanding job leading the department.
His appointment will appear on the agenda on November 3rd, 2021 and he will be available to meet with each of you prior to that date.
