ORDINANCE approving and authorizing Lease Agreement between the City of Houston and CONCESSIONS OF HOUSTON, INC for Office and Warehouse Space at George Bush Intercontinental Airport - DISTRICT B - DAVIS |
| | | | | | | | Background:
Concessions of Houston, Inc. has requested to lease from the City of Houston office and warehouse space for its operations at George Bush Intercontinental Airport/Houston (IAH).
The pertinent terms and conditions of this lease agreement are as follows:

1. Premises:
|
Approximately 3,600 square feet of office and warehouse space at 18504 Lee Road at IAH
|
|
2. Term:
|
The term is for three (3) years. The Lessee or the Director shall the right to terminate this lease upon 30 days’ prior written notice to the other party.
|
|
3. Rent:
|
Rent shall be $19,200 per year, which shall be increased by three percent (3%) per year.
|
|
4. Use:
|
The space is to be used for storage and office space.
|
|
5. Maintenance and Utilities:
|
Lessee shall assume the entire responsibility, cost and expense for all maintenance of the leased premises and shall be responsible for all utilities or service to the leased premises.
|
|
6. Indemnification:
|
Lessee shall indemnify and hold the City harmless shall provide the required insurance in the limits as stated in the lease.
|
|
7. Other:
|
Lessee agrees to comply with all rules and regulations adopted by the airport and/or TSA and/or the FAA, and to comply with all federal, state and local statutes, ordinance, regulations and policies.
