To set a public hearing date on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, regarding:
(1) Project plan amendments and annexations for Reinvestment Zone Numbers Eight (Gulfgate), Ten (Lake Houston), Twelve (City Park), Twenty-Five (Hiram Clarke), Twenty-Six (Sunnyside), and Twenty-Seven (Montrose);
(2) Project plan amendment and life extension for Reinvestment Zone Number Twenty-Two (Leland Woods);
(3) Project plan amendments, annexations, and life extensions for Reinvestment Zone Numbers Two (Midtown) and Fourteen (Fourth Ward) and;
(4) Project plan amendments and deannexations for Reinvestment Zone Numbers Three (Main Street/Market Square) and Seven (Old Spanish Trail/Almeda Corridors).
SPECIFIC EXPLANATION:
Pursuant to Texas Tax Code Sections 311.007(c) and 311.011(e), because each plan amendment will involve an extension of the term of the zone or an increase or decrease in the geographic area of the zone, a public hearing must be held prior to City Council’s consideration of ordinances to amend the respective project plans for Reinvestment Zone Numbers Two (Midtown), Three (Main Street/Market Square), Seven (OST/Almeda), Eight (Gulfgate), Ten (Lake Houston), Twelve (City Park), Fourteen (Fourth Ward), Twenty-Two (Leland Woods), Twenty-Five (Hiram Clarke), Twenty-Six (Sunnyside), and Twenty-Seven (Montrose).
