ORDINANCE designating the property municipally known as 3004 Bagby Street within the City of Houston, Texas as a protected landmark and known as the “LULAC COUNCIL 60 CLUBHOUSE”; - DISTRICT C - KAMIN

Chapter 33 Section 33-222 allows for City Council to designate a Landmark or Protected Landmark upon application by property owner.

The application for Protected Landmark designation of The LULAC Council 60 Clubhouse, 3004 Bagby Street, was initiated by Sehila Casper, National Trust for Historic Preservation, Houston Field Office. 

A public hearing was held on April 9, 2020 by the Houston Archaeological and Historical Commission and there were no objections to the designation. The Houston Archaeological and Historical Commission determined that the application satisfied applicable criteria of the ordinance and unanimously recommended approval of the Protected Landmark designation.
