Pursuant to City of Houston, Texas Ordinance 98-125, Resolution No. 2000-40, Chapter 311 of the Texas Tax Code, Subchapter D of Chapter 431, Texas Transportation Code, and Chapter 394, Texas Local Government Code, I am nominating the following individual for appointment to the Board of Directors of the Reinvestment Zone Number 13, City of Houston Texas (Old Sixth Ward), subject to Council confirmation.
Ms. Leigh Hollins, Houston Independent School District Representative appointment to Position Eight, for a term to expire December 31, 2021.
Pursuant to Article II, Section 1 of the bylaws of the Old Sixth Ward Redevelopment Authority, appointment of a director to the Board of Directors of this Zone will also constitute appointment of the director to the corresponding position of the Board of Directors of the Authority for the same term.
