The Houston Parks and Recreation Department requests Council approval of an Interlocal Agreement (ILA) with Harris County for development, operation, and maintenance of 21.54-acre Veterans Memorial Park located at 800 Tidwell, Houston, Texas 77093 in City Council District H.
The proposed ILA grants the County permission to enter upon, develop, operate and maintain the Park for the use and enjoyment of residents of the City and the County while continuing to honor veterans. The County will be responsible for and pay any and all costs and expenses associated with performance under this Agreement. The term of the agreement is 20 years.
