The Houston Health Department (HHD) requests a Leave of Absence Without Pay for 180 Days, pursuant the City of Houston Ordinance 14-172 for Teresita Ladrillo, Bureau Chief, DDS, Bureau of Oral Health, Employee I.D. # 132327 from January 9, 2020 to July 6, 2020.

On February 11, 2020, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) approved the following two sets of unpaid leave for Dr. Ladrillo:

• 90 days, beginning July 13, 2019 and ending October 10, 2019
• 90 days, beginning October 11, 2019 and ending January 8, 2020

HHD requests City Council approval of additional leave for Dr. Ladrillo from January 9, 2020 to July 6, 2020 to allow her an opportunity to to take care of her personal affairs and return to work.

HHD also requests to maintain Dr. Ladrillo’s payroll in an unpaid status.
