SUBJECT: Petition for the City's consent to the addition of 10.4433 acres to Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 390 (Key Map No. 573-N)

The petition for the addition of 10.4433 acres of land to Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 390 be approved.
SPECIFIC EXPLANATION:
Harris County municipal Utility District No. 390 has petitioned the City of Houston for consent to add 10.4433 acres of land located entirely within the corporate limits of Houston, to the district.
The Utility District Review Committee has evaluated the application with respect to wastewater collection and treatment, potable water distribution, storm water conveyance, and other public services.
The district is located in the vicinity of Almeda-Genoa Road, West Orem Drive, Kirby Drive, and State Highway 288. The district desires to add 10.4433 acres, thus yielding a total of 652.8267 acres. The district will be served by the City of Houston's Almeda-Sims Wastewater Treatment Plant. The nearest major drainage facility for Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 390 is Sims Bayou which flows into the Houston Ship Channel.
Potable water will be provided to the district by the City of Houston. By executing the Petition for Consent, the district has acknowledged that all plans for the construction of water conveyance, wastewater collection, and storm water collection systems within the district must be approved by the City of Houston prior to their construction.
The Utility District Review Committee recommends that the subject petition be approved.
