RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended City Council approve a motion declining the acceptance of, rejecting, and refusing the dedication of Arlington Street, from East 41st Street north to East 42nd Street, located in the Willadale, Section 3 Addition, out of the O.P. Kelton Survey. Parcel SY18-060
SPECIFIC EXPLANATION: Melissa Ramirez, the property owner within Lot 1A, Block 2 of the Willadale Section 3 Addition, requested the non-acceptance of Arlington Street, from East 41st Street north to East 42nd Street, located in the Willadale, Section 3 Addition, out of the O.P. Kelton Survey. The street has never been paved or used for utility purposes, and the City has identified no future need for this street. Melissa Ramirez plans to construct a new single-family residence within the requested area. The other abutting property owners will incorporate the requested portion of the right-of-way into their abutting property. The Joint Referral Committee reviewed the request and determined the request could be processed as a non-acceptance.
Therefore, it is recommended City Council approve a motion declining the acceptance of, rejecting, and refusing the dedication of Arlington Street, from East 41st Street north to East 42nd Street, located in the Willadale, Section 3 Addition, out of the O.P. Kelton Survey.
