Chapter 33, Section 33-222 allows for City Council to designate a Landmark or Protected Landmark upon application by property owner.
This application for Historic Landmark designation of the House at 2000 Holly Hall Road #191 was initiated by the owner.
A public hearing was held on August 21, 2019 by the Houston Archaeological and Historical Commission and there were no objections to the designation. The Houston Archaeological and Historical Commission determined that the application satisfied applicable criteria of the ordinance and unanimously recommended approval of the Historic Landmark designation.
