RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended City Council approve a motion disclaiming Meadow Street, from Clinton Drive to its northern terminus, out of the S.M. Harris Survey, A-327. Parcel SY20-011
SPECIFIC EXPLANATION: Ramon O. Romero, 2937 Clinton Drive, Houston, Texas, 77020, requested the disclaimer of Meadow Street, from Clinton Drive to its northern terminus, out of the S.M. Harris Survey, A-327. There is no available dedicatory language on the plat conveying the subject street to the City or public, no separate document conveying the subject street to the City or public, no pavement or utilities in the subject street, nor any other use made by the City that would support the assertion of a City or public street property interest.
The applicant intends to fence in his portion of the subject street for security and maintenance. The other abutting property owners have agreed to the disclaimer of the street and will determine their portions of the street. The Joint Referral Committee reviewed the request and determined the request could be processed as a disclaimer.
Therefore, it is recommended City Council approve a motion disclaiming Meadow Street, from Clinton Drive to its northern terminus, out of the S.M. Harris Survey, A-327.
