SUBJECT: Petition for the City's consent to the addition of 6.3964 acres of land to Forest Hills Municipal Utility District (Key Map No. 411D, 412A)

The petition for the addition of 6.3964 acres of land to Forest Hills Municipal Utility District be approved.
SPECIFIC EXPLANTION:
Forest Hills Municipal Utility District has petitioned the City of Houston for consent to add 6.3964 acres of land, located in the city's extraterritorial jurisdiction , to the district.
The Utility District Review Committee has evaluated the application with respect of wastewater collection and treatment , potable water distribution, storm water conveyance, and other public services.
The district is located in the vicinity of W. Mount Houston Road, Sam Houston Tollway North, State Highway 249 (Tomball Parkway) and Veterans Memorial Drive. The district desires to add 6.3964 acres, thus yielding a total of 493.4175 acres. the district will be served by a district plant, Forest Hills Municipal Utility District Wastewater Treatment Plant. The nearest major drainage facility flows to Greens Bayou and finally into the Houston Ship Channel.
Potable water will be provided by the district. By executing the Petition for Consent, The district has acknowledged that all plans for the construction of water conveyance, wastewater collection, and storm water collection systems within the district must be approved by the City of Houston prior to their construction.
The Utility District Review committee recommends that the subject petition be approved.
