Dear Council Members:

Pursuant to the Texas Housing Finance Corporation Act, Chapter 394 of the Texas Local Government Code, and Article VI of the Articles of Incorporation of the Houston Housing Finance Corporation, as amended, members of the board of directors of the Houston Housing Finance Corporation are to be appointed by resolution of the City Council to staggered terms expiring December 5, every three years. I am nominating the following individuals for appointment or reappointments to the board.

Carolyn Matthews, reappointment to Position Three, for a term to expire December 5, 2020;

Yan Lui Chapman, appointment to Position Four, for an unexpired term ending December 5, 2021;

Redick Edwards, reappointment to Position Five, for a term to expire December 5, 2020, and to serve as Chair;

Milton L. Birdwell, appointment to Position Seven, for a term to expire December 5, 2020;

Dana Kervin, reappointment to Position Nine, for a term to expire December 5, 2020;

and

Bolivar M. Fraga, appointment to Position Eleven, for a term to expire December 5, 2019.
