The Houston Health Department (HHD)requests City Council approval of an ordinance amending Contract No. 460012190, between the City of Houston and Tyler Technologies Inc. for Software Product License and Software Support Services to extend the agreement from November 20, 2018 through March 1, 2019. No additional funds will be added to this agreement.
The contract is being extended to enable the parties to complete the pending contract negotiations for a new contract.
The software provided by Tyler Technologies Inc. is called the Digital Health Department System. The system is used by the Environmental Health Division of HHD to collect and maintain all information pertaining to environmental inspections, complaints, investigations and other related activities pertaining to food establishments, mobile food units, restaurants, commercial swimming pools, private ambulance companies, special waste generators and the registration of potential emissions generators.
Fiscal Note:
Funding for this item is included in the FY2019 adopted budget. therefore, no fiscal note is required as stated in the Financial Policy Ord. 2014-1078
