Approve an ordinance authorizing the appropriation of $14,920,052.00 from the Equipment Acquisition Consolidated Fund (1800) and Miscellaneous Capital Projects/Acquisitions CP Ser E (4039) for vehicles and related equipment for Solid Waste Department and Fleet Management Department.
SPECIFIC EXPLANATION:
The Chief Business Officer along with the Director of the Fleet Management Department and the Chief Procurement Officer recommend that City Council approve an ordinance authorizing the appropriation of $14,920,052.00 out of the Equipment Acquisition Consolidated Fund (Fund 1800) and Miscellaneous Capital Projects/Acquisitions CP Ser E (4039).
The appropriation will cover purchases of various vehicles such as automated trash and Bulk vehicles for the Solid Waste Management Department and equipment that will be assigned to various locations for administrative and maintenance operations Citywide.
FISCAL NOTE:
There is no estimated impact to the operating budget because of this CIP project.
