SPECIFIC EXPLANATION: Magellan Pipeline Company, L.P., (Magellan Pipeline GP, LLC, General Partner, Mark McKenzie, Vice President), on behalf of itself and V-Tex Logistics, LLC, (Richard F. Lashway, Manager), requested the sale of a ±14,591 square-foot subsurface pipeline easement within and along an existing CenterPoint easement, both within the North Side Service Barn facility, out of the J. T. Harrell Survey, A-329. This request is for a portion of a proposed 128 mile-long subsurface petroleum products pipeline through multiple properties along its route. It is to be constructed with directional drilling under the City’s property at a minimum depth of 30 feet with no open surface cuts. CenterPoint has provided its consent to the location of the proposed pipeline easement within its existing easement within the North Side Service Barn facility land. No public utilities are in the location of the proposed pipeline easement.
Magellan Pipeline Company, L.P., on behalf of itself and V-Tex Logistics, LLC, has completed the transaction requirements, has accepted the City's offer, and has rendered payment in full.
The City will sell to Magellan Pipeline Company, L.P., and V-Tex Logistics, LLC:

Valued at $2.75 per square foot x 25% x 50%
TOTAL SALE $5,016.00
Therefore, it is recommended City Council approve an ordinance authorizing the sale of a ±14,591 square-foot subsurface pipeline easement within and along an existing CenterPoint easement, both within the North Side Service Barn facility, out of the J. T. Harrell Survey, A-329.
